About the Role

Job Summary
<p class="ql-align-justify">The sole responsibility of Procurement officer to purchase material in timely manner at optimum prices. </p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">This role requires the candidate to be well aware of required quality standards and sources meeting the requirement.</p>
Key Responsibilities
<p class="ql-align-justify">- Source standard and consumable material.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">- Manage all assigned purchase requisitions.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">- Negotiate with suppliers for price, payment terms and deliveries</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">- Solicit samples from prospective suppliers for submission to QA for evaluation.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">- Direct cash buyers to potential suppliers.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">- Review monthly production plan and actively coordinate with Planning Department for delivery schedule of materials.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">- Follow up for imported / local material deliveries with suppliers.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">- Solicit freight quotes and negotiate with forwarders for imported materials wherever needed.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">- Follow up with accounts department for advance payments and due payments.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">- Coordinate with QA, Store and supplier for any rejections/replacement.</p>

Minimum Qualifications
Required Skills
<p class="ql-align-justify">· Solid purchasing and negotiation skills, prior experience in any ERP systems.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">· Excellent communication skills inside & outside of the organization.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">· Good English knowledge, both spoken and written.</p>
